Martin Pengelly

Martin qualified in 1977 from the Royal Veterinary College in London, worked for 4 years in Norfolk and returned to Peterborough in 1981. Martin joined his father in the practice and after the retirement of Mr Tunney in 1984, he became a partner. He is married with 3 children, 2 grandchildren, 2 dogs and a varying number of cats and kittens. Martin's interests are farm animals and greyhounds. He is on the panel for inspection of Riding Establishments and Kennels.

Geoff spent most of his early years on farms where he developed an interest in animal care. He went onto study Zoology in London before obtaining a Veterinary degree from Bristol University. Geoff joined the practice in 1980 and became one of the practice partners in 1986. Geoff enjoys working in many different aspects of Veterinary medicine and has a particular interest in orthopaedic surgery.

Sarah started at the practice in August 1986 as a nursing assistant with the ambition to become a Qualified Veterinary Nurse. In 1989 Sarah was able to begin formal veterinary nurse training after the practice gained R.C.V.S. "Training Practice" status and she became the first student veterinary nurse to train and gain the V.N. Qualification at the practice. In 1996 after ten years of nursing Sarah began to take a more active role in the administration and managerial side of the practice and has for many years now been the Practice Manager.

Sylvia qualified in 2001 and has been with this practice since then. She is interested in Equine and small animal dentistry. Sylvia is married to Remco (also a veterinary surgeon), and they have 3 children, they also have three dogs called Lola, Millie and Charlie, two guinea pigs, a Shetland pony called Rupert. and an array of other animals including chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits etc.

Harriet Norris

Harriet qualified at the Royal Veterinary College in London. She previously achieved a Zoology Degree in 2004 at Nottingham University before pursuing a veterinary career. Her interests are mixed practice, especially equine. Harriet got married to her long term partner in Oct 2010 and gave birth to their first son in November 2011. They have 3 dogs (Danger, Lottie & Beatle) and some chickens. She enjoys long walks with the dogs and gardening.

Laura qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Cambridge vet school in 2009. Her interests includes small animal surgery and ultrasound. Laura is currently studying towards an advanced qualification in soft tissue surgery. Laura has a Mainecoon cat called Isis and 2 rabbits (Coco & Sprinkles). Away from the surgery she enjoys spending time with her husband, running, hiking and creative writing.

Olivia qualified from the Royal Veterinary College,and joined us in 2011. She enjoys surgery and has a particular interest in dermatology. In her spare time she makes handmade items such as jewellery. She also likes gardening and cooking.

Faye has been with the practice since 2000 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2005. Faye became an NVQ student assessor in 2008 and is involved in student training. Faye was appointed Head veterinary nurse in April 2012. Faye has particular interests in Critical Care Nursing, diabetes management, nutrition and running the Pharmacy Stock Control. Faye has 2 children and 2 young dogs called Binky and Bert.

Joyce joined the practice in 1980 as a veterinary nurse for 3 years, she re-joined the practice in 2001 as a receptionist. Joyce decided to have a career change and is now a qualified veterinary nurse. Her interests are mainly intensive care nursing. Joyce is in charge of our waiting room display boards and inhouse laboratory. She has a Basset hound called Dooleys, 2 cats called Baileys & Chianti and 3 children.

Leanne qualified as a Veterinary nurse from the College of Animal Welfare, Huntingdon in August 2012, after training as a student nurse here for two years. Leanne's interests include exotics, canine behaviour, and emergency nursing. Leanne has a keen interest in Falconry. She has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Pumpkin.

Jeni has been qualified since 2010, she is currently working towards her Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing. She has a thirteen year old cat called Bakey. Jeni enjoys running weight clinics, she is a member of Werrington joggers and in her spare time she enjoys going the gym and knitting.

Jane is the newest member of our team, previously she worked as an animal manager at the Exotic Pet Refuge. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering at animal sanctuaries.

Receptionist

Linda has been with the practice for 10 years, as a receptionist at both our Hampton and Park Road branches. Linda has 2 dogs called Max and Lucy. Linda's daughter Michelle is a receptionist at our practice too. Linda enjoys travelling, walking her dogs and spending time with her 4 grandchildren.

Marrianne has been a client of the practice since 1975 and started as a receptionist in Oct 2002. She is married, with a daughter and 3 grandsons. Marrianne has a dog Arby, a cat called Morgan and a tortoise called Fred. She enjoys reading, gardening (grow our own veg), cooking, knitting & crocheting.

Michelle has worked as a receptionist at the practice for 8 years. She has three dogs; Kiara, Storm, and Rosie, three cats and three children. She enjoys horse-riding, and walking her dogs.
